Leadership is contextual. The style of leadership that one situation requires is vastly different to style of leadership required in the next. Great leaders know when to be strong, lead with assertiveness, but they also know when to strip it all back and become totally vulnerable.
Everyone wants to work for someone and follow someone who they can see genuinely cares. Showing up as ‘the strong one’ in every situation may be placing a barrier between you and your people as they aren’t seeing enough of your human side. Every now and then, show them you’re human.
