The temptation today is to stay up-to-date with all of the latest cutting edge trends, tools and technology. Whilst this is important, it can also prove distracting from ‘the real work’ which we must all focus on if we are to leave our mark. There is also much to be gained from studying the greats of history, as they have often applied timeless principles which have etched their names into our collective consciousness, and cemented their legacy. Some of my personal favourites to study whom I can recommend as a starting point for you include: Nelson Mandela, Gandhi and Michelangelo.
You could start there, and with continued study I’m confident that this exercise will enable you to rise above the noise of the day-to-day grind and begin operating at a higher level of thinking.
